Meridian College in Lakewood Ranch hosting free COVID-19 vaccine event

Meridian College, in partnership with PrimeHealth Urgent Care, is hosting a free community COVID-19 vaccine event. The Moderna COVID-19 vaccine will be administered, as a two-dose series, one month apart.

The event will begin Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Meridian College, 7020 Professional Parkway East, 2nd Floor, Sarasota, FL 34240.

Meridian College and Prime Health Urgent Care will be providing the health care workers. Dr. Alfonso Espinel will oversee the logistics of the onsite distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Scheduling is required. Adults 18 and older, please call Meridian College, and speak with Tracy Fordham to schedule your COVID-19 vaccination at 941-377-4880, Ext. 7501.

The second dose date is scheduled at the same time as the first dose, but on May 19 at the college.
